Bywell Sango was born in 1979.He began sculpting at an early stage having been inspired by his brother the late Brighton .Byell used to assist Brighton in creating and doing the finishing up of sculptures during school holidays .Competition among the Sango brothers has been significant in developing subtly unique approaches.

Bywell concentrates on perfecting his cubic interpretation of emotions and situation in abstract form. His  inspiration derives  not so much from Shona Mythology but  from the shape of  the stone  itself .His works  has  be exhibited  all over  the world and Zimbabwe .He Prefers  to work on Cobalt ,Opal, Spring Stone  and Serpentine  .
