With him learning to do stone curving from his brother and since then his talent and abilities to create and produce quality stone sculptures has risen from strength to strength. Lovemore Mangenda have been doing art since 1998 and he appreciates working on hard stones such as verdite, batter jade, spring stone and also wood.
Lovemore is now a full time resident at Chitungwiza Arts Centre, and he was born on the 19th of August the year 1979 in Nyanga area of Zimbabwe.
I loved all of your sculptures!! They are so beautiful and the details our wonderful. I was visiting the Kalahari Resort and saw them on display there. I took a photo of it. I’m a budding photographer (71 years old) and have gotten pretty good. I hope I can contact you somehow to find out if you would give me permission to try and sell it. Whether you say Yes or No, I will keep telling people about that display of your work at Kalahari and say they must go look at it.

Today I bought in a fair trade shop in Leiden (Netherlands) a sculpture of a lady’s head. I am delighted by it. Amsterdam November 28, 2023.
