Stage 3: Chiselling
In Part2 of this feature, Isaac Choloka had sketched his stonework and it was difficult to see what he had sketched.
After sketching the stone sculpture, Isaac Choloka uses a hammer and a chisel to scrap off the unwanted portions of the stonework. This process leaves the piece with a rough finish. Now the sculpture he is working on is now more visible and I am sure many of you can now see what Isaac Choloka is trying to come up with.
He still has no title for his stone sculpture, he says he is still “communicating” with the piece.Let’s see if he has a title on the next stage.
